Quotes Overview

Quotes are the heart of Quoteworks. A quote is a professional proposal you build and share with your customer — it includes customer details, product descriptions, images, pricing, and more.

The quotes list

When you open Quoteworks, you'll see your list of quotes in the main area. From here you can:

  • Switch between grid and list view using the toggle icons in the top-right corner.
  • Filter by status — click All, Drafts, Live, Accepted, or Archived in the sidebar to narrow down what you see.
  • Sort quotes — use the sort dropdown to order by last updated, date created, quote name, or customer name.
  • Search — type in the search bar to quickly find a quote by name or company.

Each quote card shows key information at a glance: the quote name, customer, total amount, status, and when it was last updated.

Quote statuses

Every quote has a status that tracks where it is in your workflow:

StatusWhat it means
DraftYou're still working on it. Only you and your team can see it.
LiveThe quote has been published and shared with your customer.
AcceptedYour customer has agreed to the quote.
ArchivedThe quote has been retired and is hidden from the main list.

You can change a quote's status at any time — see Managing Quotes for details.
