Quotes Overview
Quotes are the heart of Quoteworks. A quote is a professional proposal you build and share with your customer — it includes customer details, product descriptions, images, pricing, and more.
The quotes list
When you open Quoteworks, you'll see your list of quotes in the main area. From here you can:
- Switch between grid and list view using the toggle icons in the top-right corner.
- Filter by status — click All, Drafts, Live, Accepted, or Archived in the sidebar to narrow down what you see.
- Sort quotes — use the sort dropdown to order by last updated, date created, quote name, or customer name.
- Search — type in the search bar to quickly find a quote by name or company.
Each quote card shows key information at a glance: the quote name, customer, total amount, status, and when it was last updated.
Quote statuses
Every quote has a status that tracks where it is in your workflow:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Draft | You're still working on it. Only you and your team can see it. |
| Live | The quote has been published and shared with your customer. |
| Accepted | Your customer has agreed to the quote. |
| Archived | The quote has been retired and is hidden from the main list. |
You can change a quote's status at any time — see Managing Quotes for details.
