Creating a Solution
Building a solution works just like building a quote — you use the same editor with all the same features. The difference is that a solution doesn't include customer-specific information, since it's meant to be a reusable template.
Starting a new solution
- Click Solutions in the sidebar.
- Click + New Solution.
- The solution editor opens with a blank template.
What to include
A good solution template includes everything your team would typically put in a quote:
- Header — Set the title, subtitle, and description to describe the product or package this solution represents.
- Architecture image — Upload a diagram or select a Map showing the typical system layout.
- Highlights — Add key selling points with icons.
- Sections and items — Build out the standard pricing with all the products, services, and their prices.
- Badge and SKU — Set reference numbers if applicable.
Think of it as your "ideal quote"
Build the solution as if you were creating a quote for a real customer. The more complete the template, the less work your team needs to do when creating actual quotes from it.
Saving and editing
Solutions auto-save as you work, just like quotes. You can come back and edit a solution at any time — click on it in the solutions list to reopen the editor.
Previewing a solution
To see what your solution would look like as a finished quote:
- Open the solution in the editor.
- Click Preview.
- A read-only preview opens showing how the quote would appear to a customer, with sample company data filled in.
This is a great way to check your layout, pricing, and content before your team starts using it.
Tips
- Create solutions for your most common products or packages. If your team frequently quotes the same set of items, a solution saves everyone time.
- Keep pricing up to date. When prices change, update the relevant solutions so new quotes always start with current pricing.
- Use clear naming. Name your solutions descriptively (e.g., "Enterprise Package 2026" or "Starter Kit — Monthly Billing") so your team can quickly find the right template.
