Appearance
Opening a Quote
When your customer clicks the quote link you've shared, here's what happens.
The login screen
Your customer will see a simple login screen asking for a password. They enter the password you provided and click to continue.
- If the password is correct, the full quote loads immediately.
- If the password is wrong, an error message appears and they can try again.
Sharing the password
When you publish a quote, you can copy both the link and password together using the Copy Share Info button. This makes it easy to paste everything into a single email or message so your customer has what they need.
What they see after logging in
Once authenticated, your customer sees the full, interactive quote:
- Header — your logo, the quote title, subtitle, and description.
- Customer info — a "Prepared for" section with their company name, contact, and logo.
- Quote metadata — the quote ID, date, and total price are visible in a sticky bar at the top.
- Architecture image — the system diagram (if included), with the ability to click and zoom in.
- Highlights — key selling points displayed as icon cards.
- Sections and items — the full pricing breakdown with expandable details for each item.
- Totals — a summary at the bottom showing the total by billing type.
Session duration
After entering the password, your customer stays logged in for 24 hours. They can close the browser and come back without needing to enter the password again (as long as it's within the 24-hour window and they're using the same browser).
If the quote is unavailable
Your customer might see an error if:
- The quote hasn't been published yet. Only published (Live) quotes are accessible via the share link. Drafts are not visible to customers.
- The quote was unpublished or deleted. If you've taken the quote offline, the link will no longer work.
- The workspace subscription has expired. If the workspace's plan is no longer active, published quotes may be temporarily unavailable.
In any of these cases, your customer will see a clear message explaining the situation.
