Using the Item Picker

The Item Picker lets you quickly add items from your Items Library directly into a quote. Instead of manually typing out each line item, you can browse or search your catalog and add items with a click.

Opening the Item Picker

While editing a quote:

  1. Navigate to the section where you want to add items.
  2. Click the Add from Library button (or the "+" icon in the section).
  3. The Item Picker panel opens, showing all items from your library.

Finding items

The picker includes a search bar at the top. Type a keyword to filter items by name — this is the fastest way to find what you're looking for when you have a large catalog.

You can also scroll through the full list to browse available items.

Adding items to your quote

Click on an item in the picker to add it to the current section. The item is inserted with all of its details:

  • Name and spec
  • Default quantity and price
  • Billing type
  • Details, images, and links (if any)

You can add multiple items in a row without closing the picker.

After adding

Once an item is added to your quote, it becomes an independent copy. You're free to:

  • Change the quantity or price for this specific quote.
  • Edit the name, spec, or description.
  • Toggle it on or off.
  • Mark it as client-selectable.

None of these changes affect the original item in your library.

Tips

  • Build your library first, then build quotes. Having a well-stocked Items Library makes the quote-building process much faster.
  • Use the search. Even a partial match on the item name will filter the list, making it quick to find what you need.
  • Add items in bulk. You can click several items in a row to add them all to the same section.
