Using a Solution

When it's time to create a new quote, you can start from a solution template instead of building from scratch. This pulls in all the template's content — sections, items, pricing, highlights, and more — giving you a head start.

Creating a quote from a solution

  1. Click + New Quote to start a new quote.
  2. In the quote editor, click Import Solution.
  3. A picker opens showing all available solutions in your workspace.
  4. Select the solution you want to use.
  5. All of the solution's content is copied into your new quote — sections, items, pricing, highlights, architecture image, and header content.

What gets copied

Everything from the solution is brought into the new quote:

  • Header content (title, subtitle, description, badge, SKU)
  • Architecture image or map
  • Highlights
  • All sections and their items (with quantities, prices, and billing types)
  • Item details, images, and descriptions

What you'll need to add

Since solutions don't include customer-specific information, you'll want to fill in:

  • Customer details — company name, contact person, email, date, and logo.
  • Any customizations — adjust quantities, prices, or items based on this specific customer's needs.
  • Password — set a password for sharing when you're ready to publish.

Can I edit after importing?

Absolutely. The imported content is fully editable — you can change anything you need. The original solution is not affected by changes you make to the quote.

Think of it like making a copy of a template. The template stays as-is for next time, and you're free to customize the copy.

Tips

  • Don't worry about getting the solution perfect first. You can always adjust items, pricing, and content after importing into a quote.
  • Use different solutions for different products or packages. Having a few well-organized templates makes it fast to start any type of quote.
