Downloading as PDF

Quoteworks can generate a professional PDF version of any quote. This is useful for sending quotes as email attachments, printing, or keeping offline records.

Generating a PDF

  1. Open the quote you want to export.
  2. Click the Download PDF button in the top-right area of the editor.
  3. Quoteworks generates the PDF and downloads it to your computer.

The PDF includes everything in the quote — header, customer details, architecture image, highlights, all sections and items, pricing, and totals.

What's included in the PDF

The PDF is a faithful representation of the published quote, including:

  • Your workspace logo and branding.
  • The customer's company name, contact info, and logo.
  • The header section (title, subtitle, description, badge).
  • The architecture image (if included).
  • Highlights (if included).
  • All sections with their line items, quantities, prices, and billing types.
  • Item details and images (expanded).
  • The totals breakdown by billing type.

Your customer can download PDFs too

When your customer views a published quote through the share link, they also have access to a Download PDF button. The PDF they download reflects any optional items they've toggled on or off.

Tips

  • Publish before downloading if you want the PDF to reflect the latest version of the quote.
  • Review the PDF before sending it to a customer to make sure everything looks right.
  • PDFs are generated in real time, so they always reflect the current state of the quote.
