Customizing the Header
The header is the first thing your customer sees when they open the quote. It sets the tone and introduces what the quote is about.
Header fields
| Field | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Eyebrow | A small label that appears above the title. | "BUILD YOUR OWN" |
| Title | The main headline of the quote. | "Enterprise Capture System" |
| Description | A short paragraph describing what the quote covers. | "A complete volumetric capture solution for your studio." |
| Badge number | A reference number displayed as a badge on the quote. | 44 |
| SKU | An optional product SKU or reference code. | "EC-PRO-2026" |
Showing or hiding elements
Not every quote needs every field. You can toggle the visibility of certain header elements:
- Badge — Use the toggle to show or hide the badge number on the quote.
- SKU — Use the toggle to show or hide the SKU field.
When an element is hidden, it won't appear on the published quote or in the PDF — but the value is still saved so you can show it again later.
Tips for a great header
- Keep the title clear and specific. Your customer should immediately understand what the quote is for.
- Use the eyebrow for context — product lines, categories, or a simple label like "PROPOSAL" or "QUOTE."
- Write a concise description. One or two sentences is plenty. Think of it as an elevator pitch for the quote.
