Items Library

The Items Library is your central catalog of products, services, and other line items. Instead of typing out the same items over and over in every quote, you can save them here and add them to any quote with a single click.

Why use the Items Library?

  • Save time. Add items to quotes instantly instead of retyping names, specs, and pricing.
  • Stay consistent. Ensure every quote uses the same product names, descriptions, and pricing.
  • Update once. When a price changes, update the item in the library. Future quotes will use the updated version.

Where to find it

Click Items in the sidebar to open the Items Library. You'll see all the items in your workspace displayed as a list or grid.

From here you can:

  • Browse your existing items.
  • Search for a specific item by name.
  • Create a new item.
  • Edit or delete existing items.

How items relate to quotes

When you add an item from the library to a quote, it creates a copy of that item in the quote. This means:

  • Changes to the item in the library don't automatically update existing quotes that already contain it.
  • You're free to customize the item within a specific quote (change the price, quantity, etc.) without affecting the library version.
  • The library version serves as the "master" for future quotes.
